Meet The Team

Charlotte

It has always been my dream to set up a provision which combines my love of horses and the natural environment with my career in SEND. In the past 19 years I have worked with children and young people's services providing nursing care to children with life limiting, complex health needs.

I have enjoyed my career within the NHS and at Wiltshire College where I gained experience within my roles of Autism Specialist Tutor to vulnerable learners and Wellbeing Advisor where I won an award, recognising my outstanding services to young people. During this time I delivered bespoke education packages to aid the inclusion of children and young people with SEND in educational settings, ensuring their needs we're met.

I hold qualifications in Paediatric Nursing, Counselling, SEND and Understanding Autism.

I am very blessed to have enjoyed a lifetime of being around horses. In my younger years I competed in gymkhanas, pony club games, local shows and later in life show jumping, cross country and British Dressage. During 2016 I competed in the dressage championships of Great Britain on my horse of a lifetime "Charlie".

Whizz

Whizz has been a much loved part of our family for the past 16 years. He has brought us much joy and laughter over the time we've had him. He is a very cheerful character who loves to play games and interact with people. He absolutely loves engaging and doing activities with our learners at About The Yard.
